Principal Engineer Software – SW CI/CD Engineer (26-032)

Responsibilities
Experience in classified environments with implementing CI/CD pipelines that manage multiple software releases and build versions
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate poise and flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
The candidate will need to collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Systems Administrators, IT, and Security
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs
Technical skills in the following areas are required: Linux system administration, System security implementations, Experience with Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence, Experience with CI/CD, especially in a classified development environment, Experience working with DevSecOps, Experience with Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbook development and management, Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux, and Red Hat repository administration, Experience working in an Agile development environment

Understanding all or some of the following: Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Multi-Factor Authentication implementation using IPA and ADFS, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXi, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory, Backup and Recovery, Containers, and Container Orchestration products
Understanding of PaaS and SaaS concepts
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and how they apply to IT and IT products
