Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and maintain Windows servers to guarantee optimal performance, security, and reliability

Administer user accounts, group policies, and security permissions within the Active Directory environment

Monitor and apply system updates, security patches, and software upgrades in a timely and efficient manner

Implement and oversee system monitoring tools and practices to proactively identify and address issues

Ensure the security of Windows-based systems through firewall and antivirus solutions, access controls, and network security best practices

Assist in network setup, configuration, and maintenance, including switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure security

Administer storage systems, including SAN and NAS devices, to optimize data storage, backup, and retrieval processes

Utilize scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency and reliability

Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect critical data and minimize downtime in case of system failures

Provide end-user support and troubleshoot Windows-related issues, including software and hardware problems
