Responsibilities
Manage multiple commercial solar projects simultaneously from kickoff through system energization
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and clearly communicate scope and requirements to field crews
Take full ownership of project execution, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed Gantt charts and construction schedules
Establish clear plans of action with defined milestones and deadlines for field teams
Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Proactively identify risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions
Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
Provide clear and consistent execution updates to clients and management
Prepare reports covering schedule, cost, risks, and milestones
Coordinate closely with finance, engineering, operations, and warehouse teams
Manage construction, roofing and electrical subcontractors
Develop strong relationships with vendors
Negotiate scopes of work, pricing, and change orders
Perform quality checks and enforce subcontractor performance standards
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated project management experience in solar, electrical, or other construction projects
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under strict deadlines and budgets
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Mapping & Site Review: Nearmap
Documentation & Field Tracking: Bluebeam, CompanyCam, Dropbox
Productivity: Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Gantt chart
Preferred
PMP, OSHA 30, or equivalent certifications (preferred, not required)
Established network of commercial roofing and electrical subcontractors
Experience in EPC or developer-led high volume commercial solar environments
