Insight Global’s major utility client is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Management Assistant (PMA) to support a team of Project Managers overseeing large‑scale distribution projects. This role plays a key part in keeping projects organized, financially accurate, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers with financial forecasting, estimating, and budget development
Analyze historical financial data to project future costs and revenue
Align financial forecasts with project timelines, milestones, and scope changes
Create and close project IDs as needed
Perform data entry and verification between Asset Suite 8 and Intellio Connect to ensure system alignment
Monitor project schedules, confirm scheduling calls, and verify required updates
Scribe meeting notes and summarize using Copilot tools
Track follow‑up actions, deadlines, and task progress
Maintain and update document control procedures to reflect current best practices
Assist with contract change requests and collaborate with contract coordinators

Required

Experience working within a project management organization, including: Contract change requests, Financial forecasting, Document control, Meeting note‑taking/scribing
2+ years of experience in the utilities or telecommunications industry
Strong understanding of project financials, including: Cost prediction, Budget development, Cost management, Adjusting forecasts based on scope changes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Experience with ERP systems such as Asset Suite 8, Maximo, or PeopleSoft
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong data entry and data validation abilities
High level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
