Responsibilities

Perform static and dynamic binary analysis on a wide variety of platforms, architectures, and run-times
Write technical reports to support intrusion investigations by Mandiant Consulting, alert triage by Managed Defense, intelligence reports by Google Threat Intelligence, and more
Develop software to extract malware configurations from malware families
Participate in research and development tasks for existing research initiatives with minimal assistance from executive analysts
Develop software in support of malware and vulnerability automation and triage

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with reverse engineering
2 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling
2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols
2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
Experience with X86 assembly language reverse engineering

Preferred

Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Sysinternals, Wireshark, x64dbg, WinDbg, GDB, and CFF Explorer
Experience using disassemblers and debuggers to analyze the functionality of x86 and x64 (AMD64) assembly language code
Experience analyzing packed and obfuscated code
Understanding of common network protocols, including UDP, TCP, and HTTP
Ability to specify important features in PE-COFF and ELF files
