Johnson Law Group is a nationally recognized plaintiff’s law firm dedicated to representing individuals who have been wrongfully injured. They are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to manage cases from intake through resolution while providing exceptional client advocacy throughout the litigation process.

Consulting

Responsibilities

Manage personal injury cases from inception through settlement or trial
Evaluate claims, assess liability and damages, and develop case strategy
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and factual analysis related to personal injury matters
Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and hearings
Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable resolutions on behalf of clients
Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court as required
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the firm’s case management system

Required

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active and good standing membership with the Illinois State Bar
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience handling personal injury matters, plaintiff-side preferred
Demonstrated experience managing cases independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to client service and professional excellence

Preferred

Experience handling depositions, mediations, and hearings
Trial experience is a plus but not required
Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required
