Sales Manager
CareersInFood.com is a broadline distributor delivering quality food and custom solutions to foodservice operators and restaurants in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut markets. They are seeking a Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing the sales team and driving new business opportunities while ensuring that sales objectives are met and revenue is maximized.
Responsibilities
Manage and support a team or sales representatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendor partners
Work with Marketing and Customer Service to ensure consistent lead flow
Oversee, review and administer the development of sales forecasts developed by the sales force
Align with operations delivery days in markets to meet and exceed customer expectations
Assist with the recruiting and onboarding of new sales representatives
Prepare weekly, monthly sales reports
Represent the company at sales meetings, conferences, food shows and other events
Qualification
Required
4+ years' of sales management experience
5+ years' of experience in sales
Experience managing sales development and sales representatives
Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Knowledge of the greater New York Metro market and upstate New York
Ability to travel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
