Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes
Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a commercial setting
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA certification
