Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Java 8/11/17
Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions)
Ensure reliable message processing, error handling, and retry mechanisms in Kafka
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance best practices
Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed

Required

Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17)
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
Strong experience with Oracle Database, SQL & PL/SQL
Experience with Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams is a plus)
Experience with REST APIs & JSON
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
