Business Development Representative
True North Talent Partners is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities. This role involves cultivating relationships with retailers and brands, managing a full sales cycle, and contributing to the company's growth in a collaborative sales environment.

Responsibilities
Prospecting and qualifying new customers to develop a new book of business
Complete out-bound and in-bound sales calls as assigned and directed, and in accordance with established activity goals, and business development goals
Cultivate and grow relationships with prospective customers with a focus on new business development and new accounts
Prepare and ship samples for customer review
Prepare proposals utilizing company templates and following our established sales process
Schedule and lead sample and proposal review meetings with the support of company management and leadership
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year for trade shows (May/June) and other customer visits
Development of professional and sales skills by actively participating in sales training, attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
3+ years of experience in B2B sales
Demonstrated results in new business development
Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail skills, and the ability to effectively utilize our CRM tool
An ability to multi-task, set priorities and maintain them
Superior skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage your calendar and meet sales activity requirements, and effectively utilize our CRM tool
A personality that is goal-motivated, persistent and optimistic
Oral and written communication skills which are clear, concise, grammatically correct and effective
The willingness to learn new applications and skills
