Sr. Customer Account Manager

Juno Search Partners is seeking a Senior Customer Account Manager to oversee all sales activities and interactions within the assigned customer portfolio. This role will develop and execute sales strategies to grow sales with current and prospective customers, requiring close interactions with customers and the sales team.

Responsibilities

Understand and sell science-based, value-added, functional products to poultry and egg production companies, commercial livestock producers, feed mills, blenders, nutritionists, and key influencers
In collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing, establish a customer sales plan for assigned and prospective customers with specific goals and actions that will define success in the role
Regularly follow-up with current customer base and key prospects to help facilitate long-term relationships as defined in the customer sales plan
Generate leads and follow up with new prospects
Respond to customer requests and feedback in a timely manner
Be the voice of the customer and champion for customers’ needs within our company
Sell products across species: Poultry, Swine and Ruminant
Participate in regular meetings with management to contribute input on best tactics for growth in the market
Provide timely entry of all customer interactions into CRM
Role is a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote/sales visits)
15-25% overnight travel is expected in this position
Ideal allocation of time for this position:
25% Increasing sales of existing customers
25% Prospecting for new customers
20% Servicing existing customers with existing business
20% Planning and reporting
10% Trade shows and regional meetings

Qualification

Agri-Business experienceInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsMicrosoft Office proficiency

Required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor's degree in relevant area of study required
Minimum 5 years' experience in Agri-Business or equivalent required
Must have (or be able to learn) the general business practices of live poultry, swine, and ruminant animal production and be familiar with relevant industry issues, products and technologies
Must be proficient and comfortable using computers, email and letter composition, and computer software including Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to travel as needed

Preferred

Experience in Agri-Business and familiarity with industry issues, products, and technologies
