Responsibilities

Provide timely and high-quality payroll project management, governance and service management services and work products that exceed client expectations, including daily contact with EY global payroll teams and clients across the globe to verify that payroll services are delivered on time and accurately
Respond to payroll and governance payroll queries from clients and internal global stakeholders
Develop client payroll calendar detailing all payroll delivery activities and dates; support the collection of client data and work with global EY teams to confirm receipt
Audit correctness and work with country teams to correct
Manage the creation and updates of payroll processes/procedure documentation for all clients and audit annually
Provide training on global tools and processes and individual client requirements to global country payroll teams

Required

A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a relevant field of study; supported by a strong academic record
Plans to obtain an approved technical certification
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Project management skills
Excellent communication, presentation and client service skills
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Preferred

Understanding of payroll or other related finance activities
Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot
