They are seeking a Portfolio Accounting Intern to support the Portfolio Accounting team with financial statement preparation, cash analysis, and various accounting activities.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the daily and monthly accounting activities including financial statements for multi-family properties and simple joint ventures, supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts, g/l classifications, cash distributions, bank reconciliations, property-level performance returns, and reporting

You will assist with acquisition and disposition closing and documentation review including reviewing loan agreements, operating agreements, budgets, and certifications

You’ll be an excellent teammate who helps create and deliver departmental and organizational goals, including refining and introducing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
