WestLand, a Trinity Consultants team, is focused on tackling complex environmental challenges through innovative solutions. The Technical Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing technical documents, providing feedback to document writers, and managing project documentation across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, formatting, and editing scientific and technical documents

Providing document writers with feedback (redlines and comments) to improve clarity and make sure documents are created with the intended audience in mind

Coordinating projects and priorities across multiple Cultural Resource teams

Managing documents including endnote citations and quality assurance compliance

Organizing, maintaining, and recording project submittal files

Qualification

Required

Associates degree in a related field (English, communications, or similar program)

Four (4) or more years of experience specializing in document production and/or technical editing

Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office 360 (Word), Adobe Acrobat and other PDF tools, and other software related to document productions

Experience working with a wide range of diverse clients

Highly effective communication and organization skills

Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects with competing stakeholders

Preferred

Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience working with AutoCAD and/or GIS documents considered an asset
