Responsibilities

Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for state, local, and education accounts within region
Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer needs, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, discussing agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction
Leverage an understanding of Public Sector needs and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for their digital transformation initiatives
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical Specialists and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company
Experience working with the public sector market, including government, state, municipalities, education entities across the region

Preferred

Experience offering infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions
Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors
Experience with commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams in large enterprises
Ability to work with sales engineers and customer's technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations
