PCR Staffing is a Charlotte based service company seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the AP process as part of the accounting team. The role involves organizing AP items, matching invoices, managing vendor records, and assisting with purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

Intake and organize all AP related items by email, mail, and phone

Two-way and Three-way Vendor Invoice matching

Ensure accuracy of check payments and mailing of payment vouchers

Setup, review, and update vendor records as needed

Assist vendors and internal clients with purchasing and payment questions

Assist in supporting various purchasing activities; request for quotes, prepare and input purchase orders and tracking order status

Generate open PO report, review PO accuracy, communicate actionable items, trace progress, and report completion

Generate and prepare monthly inventory reports, trace progress, and communicate compliance

Prepare, maintain and review PO templates, reports and price list

Contact vendors for purchasing and issue resolution

Support the strategic sourcing manager or AP manager with various projects and assignments

Required

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
