Responsibilities

Manage vendor bills from receipt to payment

Data entry

Ability to review invoices for accuracy and verify conformity with the purchase order

Identify and resolve vendor invoice errors to ensure that all accounts payable procedures are adhered to according to established internal Holtec guidelines

Proactively identify aged invoices and address outstanding issues to maintain acceptable ageing

Interact with both internal (project managers) and external customers (vendors) to collectively resolve outstanding issues in a professional manner

Key purposes include providing assurance to management and the board, managing risks, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and preventing fraud

Analyze business processes for improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reliability

Investigate financial irregularities and potential misconduct

Examine accounting records, optional data, and financial statements for accuracy and discrepancies

Identify vulnerabilities and strength defenses against fraud

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to management
