Responsibilities
Identify policy issues affecting Google, and understand their impact on business and users by participating in policy campaigns with clear goals
Address policy and government relations issues by developing and executing policy strategy that benefits users and business
Lead Google Cloud's policy and government affairs strategy for assigned regional states
Ensure alignment of business priorities, public policy goals, and go-to-market strategies across Government Affairs and Google Cloud
Travel up to 50% as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience working within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations
Preferred
2 years of direct experience with or in state and local governments, particularly involving enterprise technology services
Experience with government procurement processes
Experience in one of the following areas such as energy, tax policy, permitting, or infrastructure development
