Rocket Pest Control is an out of this world company looking for the best people to help us be the trusted choice in pest control. The Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for devising and executing a sales plan to generate and close new leads, upsell existing customers on additional services, and build relationships with customers.

Responsibilities
Conduct home inspections and/or a commercial site evaluation and prepare a specific proposal for the individual homeowner’s or business needs
Build value for our customers by explaining each service offered and creating full service solutions
Prospect for new business, gather information about customer needs, present customized solutions and close the sale
Establish new customer contacts, prospect for fresh leads, follow up on all leads, compose and submit professional proposals and network to stay abreast of activities in the market
Establish a “presence” within your territory by actively participating in the community and industry(s) in which you sell, in order to generate new leads and contacts
Make immediate contact with all leads received via phone, voice mail, email, and/or office mail
Be respectful of customers’ premises and furnishings – leave them in the same or better condition than when you arrived; cover or remove shoes
Know all contract terms and conditions – as well as our competitions
Attend all sales meetings and technical training classes
Maintain assigned sales vehicle, equipment and tools in clean/good working condition
Adhere and abide to all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles
Participate in collections efforts
Qualification
Required
Complete a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
Required to use a ladder
Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs or more
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence
Ability to calculate basic math
Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Must have valid driver license and be 21 years of age
Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check
Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing
Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier
Preferred
Prior sales experience is preferred but not required
