Responsibilities

Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards
Performs price/cost analysis
Provides proposal support
Must have government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements
Remote employees will be expected to be on-site a minimum of 1 day every 2 weeks to foster our in-person connections and how we engage with one another. This should primarily be used for staff meetings and other team interactions, as well as maintaining relationships with other cross-functional/internal customers

Required

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior procurement experience or Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior procurement experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior procurement experience
Must have government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements
Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of supply chain and procurement with broad knowledge of project management
Independently works on large, moderately complex procurements, projects and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area with moderate oversight
Typically responsible for working several Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs
Explains, interprets, communicates and achieves cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers
May provide guidance and assistance to other employees
This position requires following established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks
Requires professional judgment and use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts

Preferred

Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the micro-purchase level ($10k)
Ability to support supplier contract above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance
