Responsibilities

Secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s)
Handle complex commercial lines claims, including higher severity exposures
Investigate Professional Lines claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures
Determine appropriate reserving levels
Exercise significant limits of authority, discretion, and independent judgment in claim handling
Identify potentially suspicious claims and ensure proper investigations
Provide coverage interpretation and draft detailed positional coverage letters
Manage all aspects of claims, including informal hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and claims litigation

Required

Secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s)
5+ years leadership experience
Handle complex commercial lines claims, including higher severity exposures
Investigate Professional Lines claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures
Determine appropriate reserving levels
Exercise significant limits of authority, discretion, and independent judgment in claim handling
Identify potentially suspicious claims and ensure proper investigations
Provide coverage interpretation and draft detailed positional coverage letters
Manage all aspects of claims, including informal hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and claims litigation
7–10 years of Commercial Lines and Professional Lines claims experience
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
Strong negotiation skills with ability to resolve complex situations while maintaining relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and present clear coverage positions
Knowledge of statutes, regulations, and case law related to claims
