This hands-on role involves improving assembly processes, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with various departments to ensure production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and improving assembly processes for new or modified products

Participate in creating assembly instructions and work procedures for production teams

Help identify opportunities for process optimization during new product introductions

Serve as the first point of escalation for assembly-related issues on the floor

Work closely with assemblers to diagnose problems and drive corrective actions

Collaborate with Materials, Quality, and Test Engineering departments to resolve production challenges

Monitor assembly quality and performance, ensuring products meet specifications and standards

Provide on-the-job training to assemblers as needed and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualification

Manufacturing experienceProblem-solvingMicrosoft OfficeCAD softwareCommunication skillsProcess optimizationTeam collaboration

Required

2+ years of relevant experience with an Associate degree, or

5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience without a degree

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively across departments

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Basic familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) for viewing and interpreting drawings

Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively on the production floor

Preferred

Associate degree in a technical or manufacturing discipline preferred
