Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Maintain and improve financial systems and workflows, with a focus on ERP functionality and utilization

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness

Responsible for the standard cost accounting, including BOMs, labor and overhead rates, and variance analysis. Cash oversight including bank reconciliation and payment processing/approval

Support the year-end audit and participate in tax audits

File sales tax filing requirements and other tax obligations across applicable jurisdictions and ensure compliance

Support tax planning and compliance activities

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, internal controls, and data integrity

Partner with operations and management teams to provide financial insights supporting business decisions in a manufacturing environment

Partner with HR and Payroll to align personnel and payroll activity with financial records, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all general ledger postings and reconciliations
