InternPreserve Shady Rest is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the history and preservation of Shady Rest Country Club. They are seeking a Marketing and Social Media Intern to create and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement while gaining experience in sports marketing and digital marketing.

Responsibilities
Maintain strong understanding of social platforms and drive all social media projects, including day-to-day management of social channels
Monitoring talent and influencer results, assisting with compiling reports and gather analytics data
Creativity secure media coverage with both digital and “traditional” outlets
Run PR and social media campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives
Create exceptional short and long form, social media and SEO-friendly content
Coordinate with internal departments to support promotion of Shady Rest and its initiatives
Ensure that campaigns, content initiatives, and projects are completed successfully to satisfy needs of marketing/PR, e-commerce, merchandising, and fundraising campaigns
Working cross-functionally, oversee the planning and execution of regular in-house photoshoots
Ensure the organization’s image, identity, and brand standards are consistently maintained and enforced
Conduct influencer marketing campaigns to widen reach
Learn more about sports marketing, fundraising, merchandising, historical documentation and museums
Ensure that all activities align with the organization's values and mission
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience with content creation and social media algorithms
Experience with photography and photo editing software
Understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to foster an inclusive environment that engages with diverse populations to support organizational goals
Preferred
Experience working with a non-profit organization
Pursuit of career in sports marketing, digital marketing, history, museums, or graphic design
Knowledge of golf is a plus
