Recruitment Manager, Equine
NVA General Practice is seeking a Recruitment Manager-Equine to lead talent acquisition efforts for equine veterinarians across multiple veterinary practices. This role involves developing recruiting strategies, managing a recruiter, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while driving diversity and compliance in the hiring process.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce plans
Recruit, lead, coach, and manage a recruiter
Partner with hiring managers to understand DVM needs, job requirements, and timelines
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Monitor recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, diversity metrics) and report on performance
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the hiring process
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and job boards
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and employer branding efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred or equivalent experience)
5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition/Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment law
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics
Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
Data-driven decision maker with experience using recruiting metrics
Collaborative leadership style with strong coaching skills
Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders
