Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products

Utilize measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product quality

Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases

Identify and report any defects or non-conformities and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is a plus

Ability to read and interpret product specifications

Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations

Ability to stand for extended periods

Capability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other elements typical of a manufacturing environment

Preferred

Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role

Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Good understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques

Ability to speak, write, and understand Spanish
