Responsibilities

Responsible for all areas of the IT department, including application support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and audit compliance, ensuring reliable and secure technology operations
Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise systems—from ERP and manufacturing applications to shop floor and field technologies—supporting transformers, switchgear, and electrical equipment production
Provide strategic direction for IT modernization aligned with business objectives, regulatory standards, and corporate governance
Lead and mentor an IT team that works closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to prioritize initiatives and deliver solutions supporting growth and efficiency
Provide oversight for India-based IT resources, establishing governance and services that support U.S. entities
Champion digital transformation initiatives, including manufacturing best practices such as IoT sensors, predictive maintenance, and digital thread, leveraging data analytics and automation to improve quality, forecasting, and asset performance
Ensure adherence to corporate governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement while developing IT talent and accountability
Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to develop IT strategy and roadmaps aligned with Quanta Services business objectives and cost targets
Oversee teams engaging with finance, operations, engineering, and plant leadership to gather and prioritize requirements
Steward technology and architecture decisions, including major software selections, to balance value, scalability, and total cost of ownership
Oversee technology enablement for new plant and production line startups, including infrastructure, ERP extension, and operational readiness
Own the enterprise application, data, and integration roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with strategic goals
Run the full lifecycle for applications, data stores, and integrations, including selection, implementation, adoption, renewals, and decommissioning
Modernize ERP capabilities, including multi-level BOM, production scheduling, and supply-chain integration, and integrate ERP with MES, MOM, PLM, QMS, and SCADA systems
Establish a governed digital thread supporting real-time visibility, quality tracking, and equipment connectivity
Oversee production support across ERP, business applications, plant systems, and integrations, managing vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure availability
Own the data, analytics, and reporting strategy and deliver prioritized operational insights while ensuring compliance with corporate and industry data governance standards
Oversee and guide overseas IT teams, establishing governance frameworks and enterprise standards that enable scalability
Plan and manage day-to-day IT operations to effectively support manufacturing, engineering, and administrative environments
Direct service delivery across internal teams and managed service providers, monitoring performance against SLAs and driving continuous improvement
Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service restoration across end-user, network, and server platforms
Oversee IT asset management, system provisioning, onboarding, training, and planned system updates to minimize business disruption
Partner with plant and business leadership to ensure technology performance supports production goals and operational efficiency
Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and control frameworks aligned with Corporate IT governance and industry best practices
Ensure compliance with corporate technology, cybersecurity, risk management, and SOX control requirements
Oversee infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud platforms, ensuring availability and security
Maintain documentation supporting audit readiness, license compliance, access controls, and data protection
Collaborate with Corporate Security teams to monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats and promote a security-first culture
Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff and contractors across plant, field, and corporate environments
Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and service-level performance
Manage IT operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
Serve as the primary liaison between the operating company and Quanta Services Corporate IT
Participate in governance meetings to align cybersecurity, infrastructure, ERP, and compliance initiatives
Communicate IT strategies, initiatives, and performance metrics to executive leadership
Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, manufacturing systems, and industry best practices
Encourage continuous learning and certification among IT staff

Required

12+ years of IT services experience
10+ years of management experience
3+ years working within SOC, ISO, or NIST frameworks and leading audit readiness
Experience operating in SOX-regulated environments
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Comfort interacting with all levels of management
Knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks
Experience with Windows, OS400, Linux/UNIX, and financial applications

Preferred

ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITSM experience
Cloud platform certification or equivalent experience
Project or agile delivery experience
