Sr. Manager Royalty Processing

BMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join their royalty team to process inbound publishing royalty statements in compliance with data standards and contractual deadlines. This role focuses on managing large datasets efficiently and accurately while serving as a relationship manager for sources of publishing income.

Responsibilities

Serve as a relationship manager for sources of publishing income
Manage the intake and processing of inbound publishing royalty statements from all sources
Work with data engineers and other internal systems to automate processes
Communicate status updates and provide feedback to internal stakeholders around processes
Support global publishing processing teams as needed
Prioritize tasks based on deadlines, workload, and the needs of the business
Handle various ad-hoc projects as the needs and complexity of the business grow

Royalty processing experienceMicrosoft ExcelData managementRecord Maestro/Curve/SR1SAPPythonSQLLookerProblem-solving skillsTime management skills

Required

Previous experience in royalty processing
Experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Must demonstrate the ability to utilize intermediate-to-advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, LOOKUPs, and other analytical functions
Strong problem-solving & time management skills
Strong understanding of large datasets and the maintenance of data tables
Record Maestro/Curve/SR1, SAP, Python, SQL, Looker Experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferably in Music Business, Accounting or Finance
