Senior Fiscal Compliance Specialist - Hybrid
The California Department of Housing & Community Development is dedicated to fostering safe and affordable housing for all Californians. The Senior Fiscal Compliance Specialist is responsible for overseeing complex policy and fiscal activities related to federal housing and community development programs, ensuring compliance with various federal guidelines and representing the department in key meetings.
Responsibilities
Responsible for complex policy and fiscal activities associated with the administration of Federal housing and community development programs including, but not limited to HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), HOME Investment Partnership Program American Rescue Plan Program (HOME-ARP), and/or National Housing Trust Fund Program (NHTF)
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of most significant and sensitive federal financial, reporting, monitoring, compliance, Uniform Administrative Requirements, cost principles and audit requirements for federal awards
Represent the Department in various meetings and/or presentations with key partners, inter-agency and/or inter-governmental groups related to the Federal housing and community development programs
Qualification
Required
Must submit a completed STD. 678 application
Must submit a Statement of Qualifications
Must reside in California for telework eligibility
Must pass a pre-employment background check
Must be eligible for hybrid telework
Must have experience with federal housing and community development programs
Must have knowledge of federal financial, reporting, monitoring, compliance, Uniform Administrative Requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for federal awards
