Legal Assistant

LHH is partnering with a company in NYC to recruit a full-time legal assistant for a long-term contract position. The role involves providing administrative support, preparing leasing documents, and assisting with various tasks within the Acquisitions Department.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support such as calendaring and scheduling
Assist with preparing leasing documents including leases, amendments, letter agreements, termination/surrender agreements, telecommunication license agreements, SNDAs, estoppel certificates and various reports
Work with the Acquisitions Department on re-financings, sales and dispositions
Communicate with tenants
Assist with processing invoices
Assist with research
Assist with file management
Upload documents to internal corporate filing systems (FileStar and LeaseTracker)
Any other duties required of the role

Qualification

Legal assistant experienceLeasing experienceReading skillsWriting skillsBachelor's degree

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience as a legal assistant with leasing experience
Excellent reading and writing skills
