Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
Develop machine learning models using frameworks such as Py Spark, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
Implement end-to-end machine learning workflows in Databricks, including data preparation, feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment
Optimize models for performance and scalability in production environments
Monitor models in production and iterate to improve performance and accuracy
Utilize MLOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks
Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences
Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and Databricks features
Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in machine learning model development and deployment
Proven experience with Databricks and its applications in ML solutions
Experience with big data technologies such as Py Spark
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with version control systems DevOps tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
