Responsibilities
Perform monthly financial close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Complete assigned mill and corporate financial reporting requirements
Perform monthly cost and variance analysis
Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Perform ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed
Support and review the accounts payable process
Assist with internal and external audit requirements
Partner with Division and Corporate Tax teams to identify and track cost improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an accounting concentration
Minimum 3+ years of professional finance or accounting experience
Strong experience with financial analysis and reconciliation processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team environments
Preferred
Experience with JD Edwards and/or Hyperion
