Assistant Project Manager
Oline Construction is a growing company in the Midwest seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial ground-up projects in Omaha. The role involves assisting Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and coordination, while gaining hands-on experience in construction management.
Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in planning and executing commercial construction projects
Assist with submittals, RFIs, contracts, and change orders
Help manage project schedules and track progress in the field
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Review drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance
Maintain project documentation and reporting
Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and pay applications
Collaborate with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and schedule goals are met
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in construction (internship experience counts)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Interest in commercial ground-up construction
Willingness to learn from experienced leaders and take initiative
Preferred
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
