Responsibilities

Engineer medium‑ and low‑voltage power distribution, UPS and generator backup, and emergency power systems for high‑density loads
Produce and review one‑line diagrams, schematics, Bills of Materials, and installation drawings
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including National Electric Code (NEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards
Work closely with mechanical, civil, controls, and IT teams to define project requirements, design criteria, and budgets
Provide technical leadership during design reviews, value‑engineering sessions, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and on‑site inspections
Analyze electrical systems to identify and resolve issues, including load balancing, capacity planning, and power consumption optimization
Stay up-to-date with advancements in data center technologies, and recommend new technologies to improve the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 10+ years of progressive experience in data‑center or other mission‑critical electrical design; active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Deep knowledge of power‑distribution architecture, UPS/generator systems, grounding/bonding, and protective‑device coordination for ≥ 20 MW facilities
Demonstrated success delivering data‑center projects from concept through commissioning, including field construction support
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including NEC and IEC standards

Preferred

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
