Promega Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer Intern to assist the cloud software engineering team with software development, testing, and release. The role involves building features across the stack, using Azure cloud services, and participating in code reviews while fostering an inclusive and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

Build features across the stack: C#/.NET APIs, React UI components, and C# WPF desktop modules as needed
Use MVVM pattern in WPF (ViewModels, bindings, commands) to deliver features with clean architecture. Write clean, testable code and add unit/integration tests (xUnit)
Work with Azure cloud services (storage, messaging, secrets)
Debug with logs/traces, fix bugs, and improve performance and reliability
Participate in code reviews, document changes, and collaborate in sprints/stand-ups
Demonstrates inclusion through their own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace. Acts with kindness, curiosity and respect for others

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields
Familiarity with Microsoft .NET, C#
Familiarity with software design and documentation principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in digital tools and technology, including Microsoft applications and mobile platforms, with the ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, automation, and collaboration

Preferred

Familiar with following programming languages: C#, JavaScript
Experience building web applications using ReactJS
Experience working with WPF desktop applications
