Field Sales Representative

LaFrance Corp, through its division Benmatt Industries, is a leading supplier and manufacturer of automotive dealer identification and promotional products. The Field Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by engaging with clients, building relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects to present products and services
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve or surpass sales goals
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and marketing strategies
Maintain consistent workload and follow up across a 7‑week travel rotation, with three overnight weeks
Utilization of Team members to support new business growth, reorders, and Customer issues

Required

Must live in the Charlotte, NC area
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
Proven experience in field sales or outside sales, preferably within a B2B environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned territory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently

Preferred

Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce or Goldmine
Knowledge of the industry relevant to the company's products or services
Formal sales training or certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person)
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform sales strategies
Comfortable with technology and digital tools to enhance sales presentations and reporting
Experience in overnight traveling
