Brooksource is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Business Architect Sr Advisor to help shape future-state business capabilities and guide transformational initiatives across the US Employer organization. In this highly influential role, you’ll partner closely with business and technology leaders to translate strategy into actionable architecture and ensure alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to understand business strategy and translate it into architectural direction
Build and maintain business architecture deliverables (capability models, conceptual diagrams, roadmaps, journey maps)
Conduct impact assessments and break down complex initiatives into clear components and dependencies
Ensure alignment with Technology and downstream functions such as process engineering and operational readiness
Communicate target state visions and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences
Develop strong, trust‑based relationships across the organization; understand hierarchy, decision networks, and organizational impacts
Support enterprise standards, governance, and continuous improvement of business architecture practices

Required

10+ years of experience driving large, cross‑functional initiatives (healthcare preferred)
Deep expertise in business architecture, including capability and value stream modeling
Comprehensive expertise in the insurance ecosystem, including payer, provider, client, and customer experiences and workflows
Experience with frameworks such as BIZBOK, TOGAF, or similar
Strong influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders without direct authority
Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complexity through clear storytelling
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
Proven ability to build meaningful partnerships and navigate complex organizations
