SSDI Intake Specialist

Brown & Brown Insurance is a leading insurance brokerage firm with a focus on adding value across the absence continuum. They are seeking a customer-focused SSDI Intake Specialist to join their Advocacy Team, responsible for making and receiving calls to sell advocacy services to potential claimants and drive operational success.

Responsibilities

Must have independent decision-making skills to determine eligibility of potential claimants
Maintains preliminary discretion over the validity of potential claims
Responsible for generating the front-end production results
Provide phenomenal customer service
Meet or exceed both individual and company quota objectives
Meet or exceed all call metric expectations in a call center atmosphere
Manage a portfolio of claims through phone and written communication
Meet or exceed expectations in Quality Audits to ensure 100% accuracy on claims
Answer all incoming calls from assigned queues
Other duties as assigned

Required

BS or equivalent or minimum of 1-2 years relative work experience preferred
Demonstrated strong Computer literacy skills with the ability to type and speak simultaneously
Polished interpersonal skills and strong professionalism
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Must have a strong ability to multitask between systems, phones and conversation

Preferred

High volume contact center (inbound and outbound) experience preferred
Relative experience in a sales or upselling environment; Insurance or SSDI experience a plus
Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
