Responsibilities

Lead a technical program management team supporting Google’s Global Network Technology organization

Be responsible for leading planning, execution, and delivery of internal and external technical programs and critical initiatives for GNT

Partner with executive leadership engineering and other stakeholders and to ensure Technical Program Management alignment with engineering and product priorities. Forecast resourcing requirements for Technical Program Management, while driving sublinear scaling at a rapid pace

Influence New Product Introduction (NPI) and product roadmap and provide expertise and actional insight throughout the NPI lifecycle

Evolve and improve the business processes governing the product lifecycle of the GNT NPIs programs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical experience

15 years of experience managing technical programs in the networking industry

Preferred

Experience partnering closely with engineering, product managers, and stakeholders and to ensure Technical Program Management alignment with engineering and product priorities

Experience defining process and business metrics, measure improvement, identifying trends and continuous improvement

Experience with networking including routing and optical transport, software-defined network, network planning and design, ML and cloud technologies

Ability to forecast resourcing requirements for the Technical Program Management team, while driving sublinear scaling at a rapid pace
