Emory Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center construction projects across the U.S. This role requires a hands-on leader who will manage projects from start to finish while supporting their teams and driving project execution.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Lead data center construction projects from early phases through closeout
Manage and coordinate electrical and/or mechanical scopes
Drive project execution with a “we, not me” mindset
Partner with field leadership to remove obstacles and keep work moving
Own project outcomes related to schedule, quality, and delivery
Review and understand project schedules (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)
Work closely with commissioning and QA/QC teams to ensure proper turnover
Mentor and develop internal team members as part of a promote-from-within culture
Travel nationally as projects require

Required

Extensive construction experience with mission-critical / data center projects
Electrical or mechanical trade background strongly preferred
Ability to review and interpret schedules in P6 and/or MS Project
Willingness to travel nationwide
Data center experience is required (at least two projects preferred)
Strong background in electrical contracting (EC) and/or mechanical contracting (MC)
Solid understanding of commissioning processes
Solid understanding of QA/QC documentation and inspections
Solid understanding of critical path scheduling concepts
Comfortable working long hours when required (Typical average 55–60 hrs/week; peak periods may require more)
Willingness to travel and go where the work is
Direct, respectful communicator who knows how to adjust their approach based on the audience

Preferred

Engineering or construction-related degree
Commissioning management experience
Experience mentoring junior PMs or Superintendents
