Research Intern - Thoracic Head & Neck Medical Oncology
Komen Graduate Training Program UT MDACC is offering a Research Intern position in the department of Thoracic Head & Neck Medical Oncology. Responsibilities
Assist with clinical data review, data entry, quality control, and preparation of analytic datasets
Learn how to review and extract information from electronic medical records, understand clinical variables (such as stage, treatment, outcomes), and work with research datasets
Develop skills in data organization, quality control, and gain experience collaborating with researchers and oncologists
Gain an understanding of the workflow of clinical research, principles of data integrity, and how clinical data supports hypothesis generation and publication-quality analyses
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or master's student in a relevant field
Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and interest in cancer research or healthcare data
Professional conduct and confidentiality adherence are essential
Preferred
experience with clinical data management or clinical research
