Responsibilities
Plan and execute all fundraising events from concept through post-event follow-up (e.g., bingo, races, dinners, auctions, community events)
Create and manage event timelines, budgets, task lists, and run-of-show documents
Coordinate venues, vendors, permits, catering, rentals, and insurance requirements
Manage event-day operations including setup, volunteer coordination, and breakdown
Ensure all events align with Family Promise branding, mission, and values
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage event volunteers
Develop clear volunteer roles and day-of instructions
Build positive, ongoing relationships with volunteers to encourage long-term engagement
Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers before, during, and after events
Build relationships with donors, sponsors, businesses, faith partners, and community groups to support events
Collaborate with staff, board members, and community partners to increase attendance and visibility
Represent Family Promise professionally at events and in the community
Work with the Development and Communications teams on event promotion, registration, and marketing
Support donor acknowledgments, sponsor recognition, and post-event thank-you communications
Track attendance, revenue, expenses, and volunteer engagement
Maintain accurate event records and budgets
Prepare post-event summaries with outcomes and recommendations
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience in event coordination, fundraising, or nonprofit work
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Experience working with volunteers and community partners
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
