Responsibilities

Serves as liaison by corresponding with other Executives such as Undersecretary and Assistant Secretaries
Performs duties independently and exercises a high degree of independent judgment in determining the most feasible approach/action to take in completing assignments
Composes and types of administrative memorandums, letters, and other correspondence regrading programs and policy and procedures
Receives, greets and screens all incoming phone calls and visitors
Schedules and coordinates meeting and conference calls while maintaining electronic calendar
Prepares and assists with the development of meeting materials such as briefings, presentations, spreadsheets, agenda and handouts
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned for the smooth operation of the office

Required

Five years of experience in administrative services
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience
