Responsibilities

Lead in Geophysics: Be the driving force behind scaling GroundIQ® by designing and delivering integrated solutions that solve client challenges and deliver measurable impact—aligned with our value proposition: earlier, faster, better
Accelerate Growth: Build and lead client-focused relationships to secure opportunities, leveraging your technical expertise and commercial acumen
Customer Service: Lead the entire asset development cycle and the needs of key stakeholders such as asset owners, engineering designers, and construction contractors
Stakeholder Engagement: Responsible for negotiating technical, commercial, legal, ethical, and sometimes abstract concepts and communicating effectively and positively with internal and external stakeholders at operational, management, and executive decision-making levels and statutory authorities
Deliverables: Design site characterization solutions using shallow, surface engineering geophysical techniques. Write detailed technical proposals for geophysical projects, ensuring clarity and alignment with client requirements
Shape the Future: Collaborate with development teams to explore new technologies and contribute to Fugro’s growth strategy, defining how we succeed in the U.S. market

Required

Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions
A Minimum of 8+ years of relevant engineering geophysical experience within the critical minerals/mining sector, infrastructure sector, or nuclear energy sector
Proven leadership experience regarding business development and business improvement processes is required
Effective client relationship management with a dedicated client base and the proven ability to produce annual revenue
Stay abreast of current professional practices, periodicals, and technological advancements
Possess a valid passport and current driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
Travel requirements are up to 50% for this job opportunity

Preferred

A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role is preferred
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering geophysics is required, Master's degree or higher is preferred
Registered Professional Geophysicist is preferred
