Assistant Route Analyst

The Assistant Route Analyst will assist in identifying route efficiencies and developing strategies to increase productivity and profitability using RouteSmart software.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain audit schedules
Communicate effectively and conduct meetings with Operations Managers and Route Managers/Supervisors to analyze, define, and recommend strategies to increase route productivity/profitability for the individual operation
Recognize current routing deficiencies and suggest improvements based on Data analytics
Create a feedback rich environment by coaching and emphasizing teamwork within the organization
Assist in developing software workaround solutions, as well as new tools, to better serve our internal customers and assist them in meeting their goals
Complete tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
Work with Finance and Operations teams on municipal Pro-formas and implementation of new contracts and acquisitions
Report monthly and quarterly to senior management on progress and success/failures of projects
Other duties as assigned

Required

Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Highly motivated individual who possesses professional demeanor and is comfortable in a variety of business environments
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Ability to identify issues, make decisions, and resolve problems
Must be able to react well under pressure and treat others with respect
Occasionally lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs
Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 20 lbs
Rarely working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions
Rarely working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
Frequently sitting
Occasionally standing/walking
Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas
Ability to travel between offices, as required
Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
Must be able to read and speak the English language

Preferred

1-3 years of Analytics experience preferred
Experience in the operation and/or the ability to learn RouteSmart software
