The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements for banking systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading system conversion projects while ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for banking systems and processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, processes, and workflows
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication
Lead and assist in system conversion projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements
Perform detailed testing and validation of system changes
Support mainframe-based applications, with a preference for experience in COBOL or Assembler
Qualification

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Banking domain expertise, including knowledge of core banking products (e.g., deposits, loans, payments)
Hands-on experience with mainframe systems; COBOL or Assembler preferred
Proven experience in system conversions and migrations

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work with technical teams and understand system architecture
