Responsibilities
Communicate with members to resolve delinquency on accounts via phone, email, or letter
Conduct a professional but direct conversation with members that assists in resolving delinquency on accounts
Perform successful account maintenance by gaining member contact, resolving delinquency, and restoring member account access
Maintain availability for front-line questions while promptly addressing concerns and prioritizing tasks
Leverage skip-tracing tools and techniques to locate and make contact with delinquent members
Use collection software/system and accurately document accounts in a clear, concise manner
Provide recommendations for effective charge-off and repossession using supporting evidence
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance benchmarks for the role
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred
Six months' of financial and service experience preferred
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations (CFPB) that govern collection practices
Working knowledge of general banking policies and procedures
Working knowledge of collateral protection insurance (CPI)
