Business Development Manager
SP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by expanding existing customer relationships and developing new customers across current and emerging markets. This role focuses on consultative selling of engineered products and solutions, partnering closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver long-term value.
Responsibilities
Driving profitable revenue growth by expanding existing customer relationships and developing new customers across current and emerging markets
Focusing on consultative selling of engineered products and solutions
Partnering closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver long-term value
Owning key customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities
Acting as an internal advocate by collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Product Management, and Operations teams
Building and managing a robust sales pipeline that consistently generates $3M+ in incremental annual growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (4-year degree required)
Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience with demonstrated organic growth of 10%+ annually
Proven record of exceeding sales quotas and growing market share
Ability to present and demonstrate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical, mathematical, and unit-conversion skills related to materials
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making ability
Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience required
Preferred
Experience in Materials, Nonwovens, or Converting industries
Exposure to markets such as Filtration, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, or Composites
