Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Laravel/PHP services and supporting components
Assist in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot defects, triage incidents, and contribute to root-cause analysis
Collaborate with front-end engineers, testing engineers, and stakeholders to deliver features
Follow secure coding practices and handle data responsibly
Monitor application health using logs/metrics; contribute to performance improvements
Participate in developer/tester meetings and maintain technical docs
Learn and apply best practices under mentorship from Senior Engineers
Uphold team standards for version control, CI/CD, and code quality
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of software development experience (internships and projects considered)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their application in real-world software solutions
Familiarity with PHP 8+ and the Laravel framework
Working knowledge of JavaScript (React, Node.js or browser) and modern tooling
Understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP, and JSON
Experience with relational databases
Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews)
Basic knowledge of testing (unit/integration) and debugging
Team player, strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a remote team
Willing to work occasional nights or weekends
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Docker/containers, CI/CD, cloud (AWS), Python
