ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Special Account Representative II to facilitate tasks related to complex member accounts. The role involves working with legal counsel and members to manage accounts such as deceased member accounts and trust accounts, ensuring accurate service and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Works with members, personal representatives, and joint account owners to address account needs

Performs daily digital account opening, ensuring the queue is worked regularly and members receive timely service

Confirms eligibility for new account opening and properly authenticates digital applications

Provides accurate and timely information to employees and members by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information received from a variety of channels including legal documents

This includes reviewing Power of Attorneys and Trust documents and Deceased accounts

Participates in loss prevention by employing strategies that provide adequate protection for the credit union with respect to its interest in a collateral secured loan

Contacts each applicable department to ensure timely revocation of services/cards, protect assets, and file claims

Communicates with senior leadership and legal counsel as needed to advise on complex account situations

Performs other job-related duties as requested
